Virtual Learning
I have challenged myself to differentiate my instruction through the integration of technology with Google Classroom and incorporated a flipped learning model. I taught all of my lessons live, both to my students in school, as well as to my students at home. I provided opportunities for movement, included visuals, and incorporated collaborative projects and small group instruction in my daily routine throughout the pandemic.
Google Classroom & Remote Learning Platforms
Google Classroom was a great way to keep my class connected and provide an equitable experience for all of my students, home, or in person. It also allowed me to give immediate feedback on every assignment, and allowed parents easy access to their child's grades.

Other Platforms used for an equitable Experience:
*Peardeck
*Flipgrid
*Document camera
*Nearpod
*Loom
*Epic
*MyON/ Renaissance
*Quizziz
*Google Forms
*Jamboard
*Virtual Libraries with direct links to reading websites.
*Virtual Field Trips
*Readworks
*Kami
*Google Meets
*Brainpop
*Google slides (interactive notebooks)

Live Lessons
I taught all of my lessons live, to both my in-person students, as well as my remote students, simultaneously.

Heading 1
Pre-Recorded Videos
I uploaded pre-recorded videos so that students could watch an additional resource to help them further understand our lesson objective.

Heading 1
Collaborative Projects
Students were assigned into breakout rooms so that they could connect, both in the classroom, and at home to work collaboratively on research projects, group work, and have class discussions about newly learned concepts.

Videos were designed as mini-lessons

Live Small Group Instruction
I was able to provide small group instruction, both to my in person students and my virtual students simultaneously. I tailored my lessons to meet the specific needs of my students.

Virtual Field Trips
I try to cultivate a balance of the academics and arts in my remote classroom. By providing students with tools such as virtual field trips, I am able to help expose them to diverse experiences, the arts, and culture.

Interactive Platforms
By utilizing interactive platforms, such as Nearpod, I am able to lift the level of engagement across content, and also provide entry points to various styles of learners.

Virtual LIbraries
These are some examples of the many virtual libraries that have helped to support my students in reading level-appropriate texts. These are easily-accessible for children to click and go directly to the text.
